LARSON DIFFERENCE OVERVIEW OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS

LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY (This is not an exhaustive listing of terms and conditions. See actual Limited Lifetime Warranty contract for full details. Certain models* excluded)

The Lifetime Limited Warranty is restricted to vehicles within 7 model years of the current year with less than 75,000 miles odometer reading at the time of sale.  However, vehicles with mileage over 75,000, but less than 100,000 may qualify for our limited 3-month 3,000-mile warranty.

A $250.00 deductible applies to each claim made on the Lifetime Limited Warranty. The deductible will be $0 if you return to the Larson Automotive Group. 

Limited Lifetime Warranty is non-transferrable and expires upon transfer of ownership of the covered vehicle.  The Warranty is also voided by commercial use of vehicle, including ride share or delivery services.

LOANER CARS FOR LIFE

The service loaner vehicle benefit is limited by availability and restricted to repair orders that require the Larson Automotive Group to have custody of the covered vehicle for 24 hours or longer.  Use of a service loaner vehicle must be requested at the time of scheduling service.  The benefit is also only available on covered vehicles in compliance with all manufacturer suggested scheduled maintenance.

Service loaner drivers must be able to furnish evidence that they are at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, and have adequate vehicle insurance coverage to comply with the provision of our service loaner agreements. 

The service loaner vehicle benefit is non-transferrable and expires upon transfer of ownership of the covered vehicle.  The benefit is also intended for personal use and as such service loaners shall not be used for commercial purposes including ride share or delivery services.

$1,000 ADDITIONAL TRADE-IN GUARANTEE

Covered vehicles must have had all manufacturer suggested scheduled maintenance performed at the Larson Automotive Group. 

Covered vehicles must have a valid and transferrable Vehicle Service Contract at the time of trade.

This certificate is non-transferrable and may only be used toward the trade-in value of the covered vehicle during the purchase of a new vehicle from the Larson Automotive Group.  Although the certificate can be presented at any point during the transaction, it must be presented before the vehicle sale or lease agreement is signed.

CAR WASH FOR LIFE

The Car Wash for Life benefit is non-transferrable and expires upon transfer of ownership of the covered vehicle.  The benefit will only be honored at Larson Automotive Group dealerships in Tacoma, Fife, or Puyallup.

5-DAY EXCHANGE POLICY (certain models* excluded)

To qualify for exchange, the covered vehicle must be in the same condition as when sold and the odometer reading on the vehicle at time of exchange must be less than 300 miles from the odometer statement prepared in the original deal.  The covered vehicle must be free of any external encumbrance except vehicle financing set up in the original deal.  Owner of the covered vehicle would be liable for any taxes and fees related to the exchange, including documentation fees for both the original and exchange transactions.

The original sale of the covered vehicle will be rescinded unless the customer cannot qualify for financing for the new vehicles acquired in exchange if applicable.

PAINTLESS DENT REPAIR

 

Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) covers the cost to repair dents that are less than four inches in diameter and fully repairable using

PDR methods. The dents must be located in accessible places such as horizontal and vertical painted sheet metal panels, door

panels, rear quarter panels, tailgates, rear hatches and doors.

Eligible vehicles must be made of painted sheet metal body panels and dent free at time of sale.

 

There is no maximum amount limit when the repairs are done by a repair facility in the Vehicle Administrative Services (VAS) repair network. For services with

prior authorization rendered outside the VAS repair network, payment may be required for the repair including receipts for

reimbursement consideration.

WINDSHIELD REPAIR

Windshield repair covers the cost of repairs of minor chips and cracks to the front windshield of the vehicle caused by

propelled rocks or other road hazards. The size of the crack cannot be longer than six inches and chips cannot be more than

one- and one-half inches in diameter to be considered for repairs.

 

The maximum benefit payable during the term of the contract is $500, regardless of the number of occurrences. The customer

is responsible for any amount that exceeds the limit.

KEY PROTECTION

 

Key protection covers the cost to repair or replace damaged, lost or stolen vehicle keys, key remotes, and key transponders.

The maximum benefit per occurrence is $800 for 1 key per any 12-month period for vehicle keys and key remotes.

 

EMERGENCY ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE

The customer calls the 24-hour toll-free number (877.675.7281) to have a service provider dispatched.

Benefits are subject to a maximum of $100 per occurrence.

 Towing

 Jump starts

 Transport to nearest charging station or on-site battery charging for electric vehicles that are

inoperable due to loss of charge

 Flat tire changes (using the inflated spare tire)

 Delivery of emergency supply of fuel, oil, fluid, or coolant

 Lockout service (key cutting is not included)

*The following vehicles do not qualify for the Limited Lifetime Warranty or 5-Day Exchange: All Exotics, Acura NSX, Cadillac w/4100 Engine, Land Rover, Porsche 911 or RS models, Porsche turbo, BMW “M” series models, BMW “8” series models, Dodge Stealth, Viper, any SRT vehicles,Ram TRX, Jaguar, Ford GT500, Toyota Supra,Ford Saleen, Hummer H1, Mercedes Benz AMG models, Corvette Z06, Audi R or RS models, Nissan GT-R, Subaru WRX, all electric (BEV) models, all alternative fuel models, all Trucks and Vans over 13,500 GVW, 10/12 cylinder cars, lifted vehicles or modified vehicles, any non-manufacture performance enhanced vehicles, commercial use vehicles, and any vehicle not registered in Washington State.

 

**The following vehicles do not qualify for the Paintless Dent Repair, Key Replacement, Windshield Chip Repair, and Emergency Roadside Assistance Services:  Vehicles older than 15 model years or with over 100,000 miles at the time of sale.  Specific ineligible models:  Audi R8, Dodge Viper, Mecedes Benz Maybach.  Specific ineligible makes: Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Lotus, Maserati, Peugot, Renault, Rolls Royce, and Sterling.  Any commercial use vehicles.

 

 

Maximum benefits are as follows: $100 per incident for Paintless Dent Repair unless through the dealership, in which case the repair amount has no limit; $800 for one key replacement; $500 total for chip repair; Emergency Roadside Assistance is limited to $100 per occurrence.  The dents must on painted sheet metal body panels and located in accessible places such as horizontal and vertical painted sheet metal panels, door panels, rear quarter panels, tailgates, rear hatches and doors.
